This collaboration will help increase awareness, provide educational content, and extend support to underserved communities.

 

 

Senses Cultural is a nonprofit organization registered as a 501(c)(3) with a mission to support individuals with autism and neurodevelopmental disorders through arts, education, and media outreach. Senses Cultural operates across the U.S., Europe, and the Middle East and provides specialized programs to migrant and refugee communities.

Our efforts are dedicated to creating a peaceful and healthy world by fostering understanding about autism and neurodevelopment disorders. 

 

To date, hundreds of children, students, parents, teachers, and other service providers have been trained about autism and neurodevelopmental disorders through our services such as free workshops, educational webinars, podcast programs, art programs, and community service activities. For the thousands of individuals who benefit from our services and programs, Senses Cultural is making lives better each day.

The Center for Autism-Specific Behavior Therapy (ABT) offers free resources, advice, training and supervision to professionals, parents and students as well as those affected with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). It is organized from Irvine, CA, but also has a base in Hildesheim. The center can be reached from any place in the world, thanks to online networks. Dr. Vera Bernard-Opitz, is a licensed German Psychotherapist and Behavior Therapist as well as an American BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctorate) and IBA (International Behavior Analyst). For 15 years she has taught at the National University of Singapore, where she coordinated a center for children with autism.  She is a book author and editor and gives talks/workshops on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Autism specific Behavior Therapy (ABT).  Parents, colleagues and home-teams benefit from supervision through video-feedback, and online consultation.
